8th Grade Service Choices

Dear 8th Grade Parents,
Congratulations, your child has almost completed 8th grade!  As we get closer to graduation, this is a reminder that your child will need to complete 10 hours of service by May 15th.  Please have your child hand in documentation stating the place of service, dates, times and signature of completion to Mrs. Bowden by May 15th.   If your child has not completed ten hours I have listed below a number of places they can go to complete this requirement.  Please note that this is a graduation requirement as stated in the Trinity Lutheran Handbook.

2 John 6_____________________-__________________
And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

Hebrews 13:17_____________________-__________________
17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

Romans 14:12_____________________-__________________

12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Ephesians 2:8-9_____________________-__________________

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

Romans 12:21_____________________-__________________

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

James 4:6_____________________-__________________

But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

“God opposes the proud
but shows favor to the humble.”[a]
